Science Week

This week has been Science Week at St Augustine’s. There has been a real buzz around the school as children have been immersed in different scientific activities.
Some classes carried out a ‘bio blitz’ of the school grounds with the help of the RSPB to identify the wildlife and plants.
Others created wildlife poems based on the ‘Wild Words’ book which has been given to every school in Dorset.
The final spectacle was a series of demonstrations and workshops by Year 6 children. They designed and presented their own demonstrations to the whole school.
We are so proud of all the children! Thank you to all the staff who have worked so hard to make the week a success.
