Big Lent Walk & Holy Thursday Liturgy

To support CAFOD in their work to fight global poverty, our children took part in The Big Lent Walk.
Our Mini Vinnies organized the whole event and decided that we should have a rainbow theme.
We are delighted to report that our children walked over 1,400 km during the day which equates to 1 person walking from Weymouth  to Berlin in Germany.
We were so pleased to welcome Bea Taylor from CAFOD for the event and Danielle Eves from Plymouth CAST and Zoe Batten the CEO from Plymouth CAST also visited for the morning and gave us many kind words of encouragement.
In the afternoon Father Anthony kindly helped the Mini Vinnies lead our Holy Thursday liturgy and enacted the washing of the disciples' feet. It was a really special day.
We thank everyone involved.
