Football Match vs Chickerel

On Friday 29th April, the Year 5/6 football team played an incredible close and thrilling match against Chickerell. St. Augustine's went 1-0 up with a brilliant goal from Ben. The visitors then equalised to make it 1-1. St. Augustine's battled on to make it 2-1 but the visitors were on our backs to make it 2-2 and quickly scored again to make it 2-3. The team played amazingly and did not stop- going for every ball and making brilliant tackles. A brilliant strike from Chickerell made it 2-4 but in the last few minutes of the game St. Augustine's scored to make it 3-4. The game ended 3-4 to the visitors, Chickerell, but the team played amazingly well and showed such determination and energy! Well done team!
