Year 5 were lucky to spend a day in the company of Olivia from the charity Young Enterprise, which visits schools to advise them about careers and running a business.
They took part in a workshop all focused on the theme of 'Community', where they had to work together in teams to devise and plan a community and learnt that a community is made up of people with different skills, backgrounds and ideas. They also learnt a little about how taxation is used to fund public services.
Well done Year 5 for participating fully in this workshop, and many thanks to Olivia and Young Enterprise for their time and effort in setting this up for our children!
