Update on how sponsored walk went

 The sponsored walk was a big success as we raised £383.12 but Mr Lobo very kindly rounded it up to £400. It was a great hit as all the children thoroughly enjoyed it and we are sure that the teachers enjoyed it more than the children. We got a letter from Oxfam to state that we have done a very thoughtful thing.

 The letter from Oxfam

The first paragraph in letter from Oxfam stated: Thank you so much for your kind donation of £400 to Oxfam’s appeal to help halt the spread of Ebola. We are putting it to immediate use to help people in Liberia and Sierra Leone who are facing the threat of this virus.

 What have we done?

The money we raised went towards the following: clean water stations, isolation centres as well as working with health authorities there to provide gloves, masks, overalls, boots, goggles and campaigns.  

 Thank you for your support, and for helping our response to Ebola crisis.
