Science Week

The children had a different and exciting week, learning lots of new things, devising experiments, solving mysteries, and realising that lots of “magic” tricks are indeed just GOOD SCIENCE!

Here are some of the comments from the children:

I learnt that the smoke they use on stage is actually dry ice.

I’ve got better at understanding how chemicals work and how different they are.

I’ve learnt what anaerobic and aerobic means.

I’ve enjoyed the ‘bleep test’ and learnt who was the fittest and jumpiest in the class!

I’ve learnt that when you make fireworks you need 3 things – calcium, potassium and copper green.

I learnt about atoms and how to make a lava lamp.

I enjoyed building the shaduf because I like creativity.

I’ve learnt what the word viscosity means.

I liked the balloon explosions!

I’ve learnt that transparent means see-through.

I liked melting the chocolate!
