Meet Mrs Kenway!
I am Mrs Kenway and I cannot wait to get to know you all and start teaching you in September. I thought I would give you all a little bit of information about me as we would normally have met by now. I live in a small village outside of Dorchester with my husband, 2 children and my dog called Stitch. My children are currently in Year 6 and 8, Kai is missing school a lot and has been working at home since March, Sienna has been back in because she is in Year 6 and has enjoyed going back to school.
I love paddle boarding, dancing, reading, colouring and walking with my dog. I love anything that Steve Backshall presents, I think he makes things fascinating and he really loves his job. I am looking through lots of books to choose some really good ones to read with you next year because I love sharing stories together as a class. I think that teaching is the best job in the world because you get to know so many different things and show children the wonderful world we live in now and how it was in the past, while getting you ready for moving into the future. My favourite subject is English. Have a fabulous summer holiday and know that I am excited for our year together. See you in September.
