14th July 2017
On Friday the 14th of July, Year 5 did a 'Bioblitz'. A Bioblitz is normally when community members record data of which animals they saw and how many there were. However, in our class we split into groups and surveyed the playground and field.
Some of us found: beetles, butterflies, birds, spiders and many other bugs. We used magnifying glasses, pots, spoons, nets and identification sheets. It was a great experience for us - especially as soon we will be going into Year 6!
