Year 5 led a lovely Harvest Liturgy this morning, where we gave thanks to God for the gifts of his creation. We thought particularly about people who don't have enough to eat and the children brought up their donations of food and drink.
Afterwards, some of the Yr 4 and 5 children took the food down to the PrayerHouse, where they run the Soul Food project for the homeless. The vicar, Paul White, showed the children round and they spoke to some of the clients and volunteers about the work there. Year 4 will be doing some work on this project after half term.
