Mission Statement

Our Catholic School encourages the integration of a Pupil's intellectual, spiritual, moral, emotional, psychological, social and physical development thus assisting progress towards the fullness of life that comes from God.

The School is at the heart of the Parish, welcoming, supporting and working in partnership with families enabling their children to grow to their full potential.

We want to create a caring and secure environment in which children, parents and staff can thrive and come to know and love God and respect each other within a Christian community.

Our curriculum is about the growth and development of the whole person. Our Teaching is planned to meet the needs of each child, and to inspire a desire to learn.

School Aims are in line with the Convention for Schools & the Rights of the Child.

Education at St. Augustine's should enable all to:

  •       happily develop self-worth and respect.
  •       become self-motivated life-long learners with enquiring minds.
  •       work independently and collaboratively in order to gain their full potential in all areas of school life.
  •       develop the confidence to embrace change.
  •       be responsible and make informed choices.
  •       develop self-discipline within a spiritual framework in their Christian Journey.
